Add Projects

Use the Add function in Plan Projects to add new Projects to IMDEXHUB-IQ™.

The following is the minimum (mandatory) information required to add a Project to IMDEXHUB-IQ™:

Each project name is required to be unique, IMDEXHUB-IQ™ will prompt if a project name already exists.

Once Projects have been created, mandatory information is no longer editable.

 

Projects can also have the following optional information:

Optional information in Description, Project Group and Project Region is editable throughout the life of the Project.

Project Group and Project Region selection lists are set up through the Manage Lists module.

 

To add a Project to IMDEXHUB-IQ™:

  1. Navigate to the Plan menu
  2. Select Projects
  3. Click Add from the module toolbar.

  1. Enter in the required Project details:
    1. Project - The identifier to name the project
    2. Country - The country in which the project is located
    3. Currency - The currency that will be used for the project
    4. Unit - The distance unit (metres or feet) used for measuring drilling depths
  2. Enter optional Project details:
    1. Description - A brief description of the project
    2. Project Group - The group the project is in
    3. Project Region - The region the project is in
    4. Mine Grid Offset - An optional field used to set True North to Mine Grid North (once added, cannot be edited)
    5. Declination Offset - The angle between True North and Magnetic North
    6. Magnetic Field - The strength of the magnetic field at the location
    7. Magnetic Dip - The angle made with the horizontal by the Earth's magnetic field (generally related to latitude)

The Mine Grid Offset is not editable once the project has been added.

  1. Click Add

You need to grant Project permissions to users via Manage Users before users can see the Project in screens such as Plan Drillholes.

 

The Project is added to IMDEXHUB-IQ™ with a status of Active. To see the Project in other areas of IMDEXHUB-IQ™, users need access to the Project granted through permissions set in the Manage Users module (Assign Projects).
